Domiciliary Care

We provide a tailored care package for everyone accessing our Domiciliary Service. Our aim is to give each person the help and support required to enable them to live in their own home and to fully access facilities in their local and wider community.

Our skilled teams focus on the holistic care of the individual, using Person Centred Planning to continually review and update support levels to ensure that everyone takes as much control over their own lives as possible and personal independence is maximised. This assessment programme is undertaken with joint co-operation between the individual themselves, their friends and families and professionals so that in every case, people’s views are listened to and respected throughout the whole process.

Our objectives are to:

  • Provide an environment that encourages personal development, confidence and self esteem and promotes independence.
  • Maintain a successful working relationship between all stakeholders.
  • Maintain the respect for each person’s individuality.
  • Support each person to enable them to make decisions affecting their own lives.
  • Respect each person’s right to privacy and choice, and their individual cultural, ethnic and sexual identity.
  • Ensure that each person is supported to express their views and concerns within a programme of continual assessment and to listen and respond within given timescales.
  • Continue to seek ways of understanding individuals who have difficulty communicating and to help them to express their views.
  • Support and encourage the development of social, vocational and recreational skills.
  • Review our services regularly and to monitor their effectiveness and quality.
