‘Design for Life’ at Stanley Grange

The “Design for Life” Appeal, chaired by celebrity hairdresser Andrew Andrew with Colleen McLoughlinCollinge, is funding an £1.8m development programme to upgrade services in the north west, based at CARE Stanley Grange . Already, £650,000 has been raised, which is an incredible achievement. We would like to thank everyone who has made a donation to the Appeal. Your generosity is helping us to provide new homes and establish progressive training facilities for people with learning disabilities in the region.

St George 2Support is now being sought from interested individuals, corporates and grant making Trusts in order to bring about the total success of the Appeal. Fundraising is well underway, with many events planned for the future.

A glamorous, star-studded Gala Ball held at St George's Hall, Liverpool, on 12 May 2007 raised in excess of £165,000 as well as significant awareness of the project. Andrew, together with his team from Andrew Collinge, arranged an unforgettable dining experience and cabaret at this most beautiful venue in the heart of the city. This was followed later in the year by Andrew's hugely successful fourth 'Design for Life' Golf Day at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
