CARE’s services in the south east are administered from a central hub based on the outskirts of the market town of Edenbridge in Kent.Edenbridge enjoys good rail and bus links with London and the surrounding villages and there is a wealth of interesting historical sites and recreational activities in the area.
We have four purpose-built and energy efficient houses that offer residential accommodation for 34 people in total within easy walking distance of Edenbridge town centre. Each house has a range of communal facilities, such as kitchen, dining room, laundry room and lounge, and residents are supported to participate fully in daily chores, shopping and meal preparation as part of assuming greater control over their own lives. Residents’ own rooms all have en suite facilities and they are actively encouraged to personalise their own accommodation, with their own door key to ensure that privacy can be maintained.
A further three well-appointed houses, set in the nearby towns of Sevenoaks, Biggin Hill and Longfield, have been established to offer a more independent lifestyle for another 25 people. Whatever level of service is required across all of our accommodation options, experienced staff teams offer 24-hour support (including waking night staff if required) to meet daily living, emotional and social needs.
