CARE’s services in the west midlands have their hub at Ironbridge. At our main site in Forbes Close, we have two large houses that currently provide registered accommodation for 30 clients:
- Wrekin Cottage
- Severn Cottage
In addition, Rose Cottage, which is in itself linked to Severn Cottage, provides supported living accommodation for a further 3 people.
Off site, we have established a house at Madeley that provides more independent living accommodation for 7 people, including one flat that affords its occupant the benefit of supported living with the security of knowing that a staff member is nearby to assist with any personal concerns. This is invaluable as a stepping stone towards greater independence.
CARE is dedicated to providing personal care that is tailored to the needs of each individual and our professional staff teams offer 24 hour support, including waking night staff, if there is a requirement. All staff members at CARE Ironbridge are trained to at least NVQ Level 2, and all managers to NVQ Level 4. In addition, all of our house managers have achieved their individual Registered Managers’ Award from CSCI.
